Closing
FormWe address the gathered audience with speech only. We describe the performance as a structure we've built together, using attention as its material. We describe the shared presence in which we've participated as a group body, in which our individual bodies have functioned like legs, as organs that contact the ground. We lovingly take leave of this shared body as it gives up the ghost.
We thank the audience for their willingness to take our direction, and formally renounce our position as directors.
PurposeWe close by reviewing the most fundamental ideas of the performance, and thank the audience for their participation. The form is itself an exegesis of the performance.
